School Council - Update and Notice of Election

​Update: 

3 nominations have been received for school council elected parent member.  The election of this member will be held at the next P&C meeting to be held on Wednesday, 20 April 2016 in the W Block Conference Room.

We are now calling for nominations for membership for our School Council


We are asking parents of a student/s of Benowa State High School to now nominate themselves for the following position:
  • 1 elected parent member.

How to nominate

You must complete and submit a Nomination Form. The Nomination Form is attached to this newsletter; it is also available from our Administration office between 8.00am and 4.00pm on school days or can be downloaded from our website www.benowashs.eq.edu.au.
Please return your nomination form by Wednesday, 23 March 2016. This can be done by:
  • delivering to the school front desk during school hours (by 4.00pm Wednesday, 23 March 2016);
  • fax to 07 5582 7300;
  • mail to Returning Officer, c/- Benowa State High School, PO Box 5733, GCMC Qld 9726 (all envelopes containing this nomination form must be post stamp dated before 23 March 2016).
