Year 12 laptop clearance

All parents are reminded that the laptop provided through the 1-to-1 learning program remains the property of Education Queensland and must be returned to Benowa State High when your child leaves the school.

All year 12 students who have taken part of in the 1-to-1 program are required to return their laptop, bag and charger by Thursday 8th November. Any items that have not been returned by this time will be recorded as lost/stolen and you will be billed accordingly. Any non-reported damage found during the audit process will be billed to you where an excess is applicable. Students will not be able to complete clearance until all bills are paid and/or the missing items have been returned. Please be aware that missing items must be reported to the police as stolen as per Education Queensland policy.

If students have assessment after Thursday 8th and require the use of their laptop, they need to see I.C.T. staff and make alternate clearance arrangements.

Students are also reminded to copy any data that they wish to keep before they return the laptops. Once the laptops have been reset it will not be possible to recover any data.
