Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association
What is a Parents & Citizens (P&C) Association?
A P&C Association is a group of volunteers (generally parents) who meet monthly to provide feedback to the school, promote student & school interests, invest in school development & contribute to school enhancement.
Everyday Service – Long Term Funding
Benowa State High School P&C Association operates the School Canteen and Uniform Shop – providing school uniform essentials and good food at affordable prices, with profits from these businesses directed back into the school to fund equipment, services and student facilities.
What Have We Achieved?
Over the past 5 years, the P&C has financed the Collaboration Centre refurbishment, outdoor seating, instruments for music programs and air-conditioning of the entire school.
YOUR PARENTS, too, can support Your school with their perspective, knowledge or expertise –
By joining the P&C and make a positive contribution as a parent voice of the Benowa State High School community;
Providing valuable feedback on school programs, activities and funding resources to enhance student learning;
Guiding P&C strategic funding to maintain & build on Benowa State High School outstanding education outcomes.
Or supporting Your P&C by paying the P&C Voluntary Contribution at any time during the year.
P&C meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6.30pm in the W Block Conference Room – ALL parents and input is genuinely welcomed. Contact us for more information via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
