Dear Parent/Caregiver
I wish to advise that the interschool sport program for 2020 - GCS has today been cancelled. This cancellation has been necessary as a result of the advice from government and regulations concerning COVID-19 regarding Mass Gatherings. These regulations are:
Social distancing is a key element of the containment strategy for COVID-19.
non-essential indoor gatherings of greater than 100 people is no longer be permitted
non-essential outdoor gatherings of more than 500 people are not permitted.
We will today commence processing credits to student accounts for those who have already paid the $100 sport fee. This credit can be applied against an outstanding invoice or if you require a refund, please email our Finance Department accounts@benowashs.eq.edu.au by Wednesday 1 April 2020.
