The year 10 early childhood course is designed to offer students the opportunity to develop knowledge, attitudes and skills related to child development, parenting and childcare. Students selecting this subject may have ambitions of careers in childcare or teaching.
Learning experiences for students selecting this subject will include visits to preschools, primary schools and childcare facilities to apply their knowledge and skills to real life situations.
