The background to this program is that we are seeking to “value add” for the school’s highest achievers across years 10 to 12 and with the support of universities we are working towards scholarship entry to the student’s university and course of choice within and beyond Australia.
The students in the program have potential access to nearly $1 million in scholarship opportunities from universities including University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, Bond University, Griffith University and many more across the country.
Why is this program different?
These are elite academic students, all likely to achieve an ATAR 95+ and they are seeking professional careers. Students in Year 10 are placed with a school mentor (staff member), whilst Years 11 and 12 students participate in excursions to scheduled events at a number of Universities. All students will continue to access support mechanisms at school, such as Guidance Officers, Industry Liaison Officer, Administration, University presenters etc.
We take this opportunity to apply a little further “polish and support” to our very high achieving students.
