Study of society and environment (SOSE) incorporates elements of history, geography and citizenship. Values education will also be integrated into the Year 9 course. This subject provides students insights and understanding of the increasingly complex world in which we live. The range of topics studied in Year 9 is designed to allow students to engage further with all aspects of the social sciences.
All Year 10 students are required to complete one social science subject. There are four subject offerings and three of these subjects are offered to cater for a variety of pathways to further senior studies and to give students choice based on their interests.
