P&C President

Marion Allard

My name is Marion. I was born in France and moved to Australia in 2007. I have two wonderful children. My son is currently in Year 8 and my daughter will start Year 7 next year. I have always been involved in my school P&C as a volunteer and now for my fifth year as an executive member. I found this approach to be the best way to familiarise myself with the Australian school system, meet many amazing families, have a positive input in my children's school life and make valuable contributions to the school's vision and future direction.

Student Member

Lily Capra

My name is Lily Capra and I am the student representative of Benowa State High School. As a school captain, I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. I believe that unity and collaboration are fundamental to our school's or any community's success, and so I feel passionately about representing the diverse voices of our students. Coming on to the school council, I aim to be a proactive advocate for student interests, ensuring that our concerns are heard and valued in any decision-making processes. I aspire to promote initiatives that enable student well-being and engagement through effective communication and teamwork, with a number of these already in the works – notably the student led tutoring initiative. Having already attended one of the meetings, I left with an immensely positive experience and have every confidence from a student's perspective of Benowa's commitment to the continuous improvement of our school to enrich the experiences and capacity of every student.

I have had 3 children enrolled at Benowa. My eldest son was a member of the first STEM Excellence Program at Benowa, my daughter was in the Music Excellence program and my youngest son in the Waldorf Excellence Program. As a parent I will have been involved with Benowa for 9 years through the schooling of my 3 children. I have a background in Education myself and have worked in the industry for more than 25 years.
