Prospective student’s principal residence must be within the defined local catchment area, as per the BSHS Enrolment Management Plan  

First - verify if your address is within our catchment area, by looking it up online via the Department of Education, Training and Employment's EdMap website E
ernal link.  Enter your full address via the left hand search panel, then select the heading 'Secondary Catchment' to confirm if you are within our catchment area. 

  • Yes - If you are within the catchment area please visit our Enrolment page​ and complete the online application.  Note: To ensure that students who enrol under the category of local catchment are genuine local residents, we will ask to see a number of original documents with your enrolment application.
  • No - If you are out of catchment but still interested in attending Benowa State High School, there are avenues for Out of Catchment enrolments  through our Excellence Programs.
