The possibilities are endless at GCIT
While you're still at school, explore a possible career path by enrolling into one of our short courses designed for school students. Increase your job opportunities by completing a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship or start your pathway to university. Start a pathway to university when you apply for a guaranteed place in a diploma or advanced diploma level course through our direct entry and scholarship program. Secure your early place in a diploma program at
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE by applying for one of eight education and training scholarship places on offer through the direct entry and Scholarship program.
Gold Coast Institute of TAFE recognises all Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales Year 12 students commitment to an industry area of your choice. The direct entry and Scholarship program can guarantee you a place in a diploma program based on your vocational studies and industry experience. No ATAR is required. The direct entry and scholarship program recognises that you may be well suited to a particular course and offers a direct place. It focuses on your personal attributes and your suitability to a particular course you are interested in. The scholarships cover course fees and $500 to be spent towards learning materials at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE bookshop. Eligibility for these scholarships is open only to Gold Coast Year 12 students who are Queensland residents.
If you are a school-leaver then be sure to make an informed choice about your study options.
