The 15th Round of QATSIF Scholarships officially opens on Monday 15 May through until Monday, 21 August. Attached is the Student application form (PDF, 600KB) so you can begin preparing for submissions. Remember any students applying are currently meeting (or will be likely to meet) the eligibility criteria.
The QATSIF Scholarships are open to current eligible Year 10 and 11 students who will be working hard towards achieving their QCE or QCIA* (* For students with a disability who are counted in the NCCD).
Please be advised the Application Portal will open by June for you to begin uploading documentation. Currently, the portal is being remodelled so that schools can easily access to their current Agreements and Claim Forms via the portal rather than having to save them.
If you have questions you can also speak to our DP Cameron Murray (cmurr27@eq.edu.au)
Also the 2023 QATSIF Creative Arts Competition is now open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander secondary (Yr 7 – 12) students in Queensland schools. There is no limit to the range of creative arts that can be entered, so please be creative. Download your 2023 QATSIF Arts Competition Consent Form (PDF, 1MB) here.

All students entering the competition will receive a certificate and either a trophy or medallion. Griffith University is sponsoring the competition again and are planning to connect with some of the young artists to offer additional opportunities.
Please do not send original artworks. We just require good high quality images of the artworks. It is important that artworks (eg. paintings) are square within the photo frame so that the image is not distorted when reprinted.
